A Short Guide to Atlantic Canada

Located on the far eastern shore of Canada, Atlantic Canada is made up of four provinces-Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Nova Scotia is home to wonderful harbour cities and quaint fishing villages and lighthouses that dot the landscape along the winding shore roads.

Across the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick boasts summer days full of festivals celebrating their diverse culture.

Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island, is home to Anne of Green Gables, the fictional character made famous by Lucy Maud Montgomery. A visit to this charming little island isn’t complete without taking in one of the world famous lobster suppers.

Whale watching anyone? While in Newfoundland and Labrador, take a whale watching expedition, visit the only authentic Viking settlement in the North America or spend some time at Cape Spear, where the dawn arrives first in North America.
