New Brunswick

Every day, 100 billion tons of seawater surge in and out of the bay with the tide, creating the world's highest tides, monumental
pillars of earth, hidden caves and a coastline teeming with life. New Brunswick offers visitors many diverse cultural activities,
such as festivals, museums and galleries. This province is particularly famous for its covered bridges. New Brunswick's dense timberland
makes up most of the northern part of the province, the farmland surrounding the Saint John River is gentle and flat, and the Bay
of Fundy, which presides over the entire southern edge of New Brunswick, is lined with sandstone cliffs and warm sandy beaches. Fundy
National Park has hiking trails, eroded bluffs, and ecosystems unique to the waters of Fundy Bay. Also situated on the shore is the
charming resort town of St. Andrews, offering whale-watching and kayaking tours. Moncton is a major transportation and distribution
centre for Atlantic Canada. Learn about New Brunswick's native and industrial heritage at the Moncton Museum, or visit Tidal Bore
Park. Fredericton is New Brunswick's capital, with dozens of galleries and art museums. The province's largest city is Saint John,
the primary industrial center in New Brunswick. This year-round port has a proud past, and is home to the The New Brunswick Museum
the nation's oldest.
