Monica MacNeil - Manager

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Destination:  Cabot Trail, Cape Breton

Why?  There is room for moose and whales to dance! I love to walk and explore, I am crazy about views of water, woods, and trails and I always keep my camera close by . Cape Breton is also home to my family.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Historical site:  Pier 21

Why?  The stories are so personal and moving, each one is a close up look at the lives of Canadians who immigrated to Canada.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Site : Lunenburg our UNNESCO World Heritage Site

Why? The history and culture are preserved so that you can feel it. There are also many historic inns to stay with great food.

Why I love my job:  Atlantic Canada is amazing, I travel every year to a place I haven't visited and I am always delighted.  I love being able to share Atlantic Canada with visitors.

Why? Fredericton has a great deal of history and beauty.Plus I get to visit my Brother who is attending university there.

Why? The breathtaking views and the wildlife is astounding.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Park: Magic Mountain

Why? the water slides are so much fun !

Why I love my job: I love being able to tell people what Atlantic Canada has to offer for their vacation.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Destination: Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia

Why? Because it is just a charming little town. I love the scenery, the old homes and all of the little shops.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Historical site: Citadel Hill

Why? The history is incredible, not to mention the view of Halifax from the top of the hill, it is beautiful.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Park: Shubenacadie Wildlife Park

Why? I love animals!

Why I love my job: I love helping people plan their trips to Atlantic Canada, and informing them about all of the wonderful things they can do here!

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Destination:   Halifax 

Why?   I love the waterfront, the great variety of restaurants and the nightlife. 

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Historical site:  Fortress of Louisbourg 

Why?   This is a great re-creation of a historic town and the costumed tour guides provide a fun learning experience.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Park: Shubenacadie Wildlife Park

Why?  It's fun to watch all of the animals 

Why I love my job:  It is fun to talk to people and help them plan their vacations to Atlantic Canada.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Destination: Baddeck, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Why? Because it is so peaceful and quiet.  It's the beginning and end point to the breathtaking Cabot Trail, which everyone should see!  I also think Cape Breton is one of the most beautiful parts of Nova Scotia, especially in the fall.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Historical Site:  Fort Louisbourg

Why? It is the largest Historical reconstruction in North America.  When you walk around, you actually feel like you are back in the 1700s.

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Park: Kejimkujik National Park

Why? There's so much to do there!  You can hike, bike, swim, go canoeing, and take amazing pictures.

Why I love my job: I'm all about Atlantic Canada!  I love bringing people to my neck of the woods and making sure they have the best time while here.

Why? Incredible history, great scenery, excellent food, and a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.  

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Historical site:  Citadel Hill in Halifax, NS 

Why? Because it's history brought to life, which makes for a unique and educational experience. Also, the view of Halifax is awesome.  

Favorite Atlantic Canadian Park:  Kejimikujik

Why? Lots of activities to do such as hiking and canoeing.  The vast amount of wilderness is pretty neat too.
